New features and bug fixes

Change log

  • NEW: Support filters to remove unwanted tracks from uploading/recording [ESB3021-202]
  • NEW: Allow to toggle subtitle styling preservation [ESB3021-233]
  • NEW: Support to generate multi-sprites thumbnails [ESB3021-237]
  • NEW: Configurable thumbnail sprite size [ESB3021-238]
  • NEW: Detect Dolby Atmos (JOC) in E-AC-3 tracks [ESB3021-239]
  • FIXED: Subtitle styling conversion from TTML to WebVTT is inaccurate [ESB3021-234]

Known limitations:

  • VoD ingest of SMIL over HTTP/FTP, does not work with query parameter audioIndex
  • Dolby Atmos JOC detection does not support E-AC-3 in HLS packed audio and backward-compatible carriage (the independent substream is AC-3 with the dependent substream is E-AC-3).

Compatibility has been verified with the following products:

  • Sw Repackager: 1.60.2
  • Sw Live Ingest: 1.50.2
  • Convoy: 4.0.0
  • Sw Streamer: 2.8.2
  • Orbit TV Server: 5.0.0
